Thanks for that hommanv - applet caching has been a huge problem for me! Java Web Start will exit after the command is completed. Is changing the file name not an option?

While hoomanv's solution may be more robust, if this simple trick would work its worth a try. I would like to clear the whole cache so i'm not passing a URL, but the applets all still appear there. If i pass a URL i get an error saying "Unable to completely uninstall application". I'll have to find out from the developers which applets specically need to be removed and maybe try renaming them. Ideally i want the whole cache gone. I also tried manually deleting the cache through windows Explorer which works as it recreates the cache folder once deleted.
